Espero hayan tenido un ¡hermoso día de Navidad! El mio estuvo espectacular, en familia... disfrutando de primos y primas que hacen meses no veia. Ya saben.. ¡poniendonos al día! Aunque ya pasó el día de navidad aún quiero compartirles las tarjetas que hice.

La primera es con Edwin de Magnolia. Los papeles y embellishments son de la colección 12 Days of Christmas de My Mind Eyes y cardstock American Crafts.

I hope you had an amazing Christmas Day! Mine was perfect, with my family; enjoying my cousins, who I havent seen in months.. you know, catching up! And even when Chistmas is almost over (here in Puerto Rico is after january 6, 3 Kings day) I still want to share my cards with you!

First one is with Edwin, with papers from the 12 Days of Christmas collection from My Mind Eyes and American Crafts cardstock.

Y esta es la tarjeta que le preparé a Michael y en esta usé una stamp de Some Odd Girl los cuales me ENCANTAN por que sus ojotes son tan grandes como los mios! LOL! Papeles nuevamente de My Mind Eyes, cardstock American Crafts, colección Everybody Loves Christmas de Echo Park y embellishments de Pebbles, inc.

And this one was for Michael and I used a Some Odd Girl stamp which I LOVE! because her eyes are as big as mine! LOL! Again papers from My Mind Eyes, American Crafts cardstock, Echo Park... Everybody Loves Christmas collection and Pebbles, inc. embbellishments.

¡Otra tarjeta de Navidad!

Como les habia mencionado en el post anterior aquí es muestro otra de las tarjetas de Navidad que preparé para mi amiga. Los papeles esta vez son de la colección Season's Greetings de Echo Park. Estos papeles han sido unos de mis favoritos para navidad ya que sus tonos de verde y rojo son perfectos! La pascua es la última que encontré de unas que habia cortado el año pasado para una clase de Reyes. Es un diseño que hice para SCAL... y que con mucha pena perdí luego que mi disco duro muriera. :-( El sentiment tambien fue diseñado por mí al igual que los que usé en las demás tarjetas. ¿Que te parece? :-)

As I had mentioned in the previous post, here is another Christmas card I made for my friend. This time the papers are from the Season's Greetings collection from Echo Park. These christmas papers are one of my favorites so far because their green and red tones are perfect! The poinsettia is the last one I found from some I had cut last year for a 3 Kings page class. It is a design I did for SCAL ... with great sadness that I lost after my hard drive died. :-( The sentiment was also designed by me as the other ones used on the other cards. What you think? :-)

Holaaa!

¡Que dificil es esto de mantener un blog! Lo admito! ...se me hace dificil! Aunque les juro lo intento! El trabajo y otros proyectos me mantienen con poco tiempo. Pero todo ha estado muy bien GAD! Disfrutando de una tranquila navidad y aprovecho para desearles a todas una ¡hermosa Navidad llena de mucha alegría, compartir en familia y sobre todo paz! Bueno al fín estoy por aquí con varias tarjetitas que he podido trabajar y quiero compartir con ustedes.

Una muy buena amiga me pidió que le preparara unas tarjetas navideñas para regalar. Y yo con mucho gusto le dije que sí. ¡Fue muy positivo este ejercicio! Logré ajustarme un poco sacar tiempito todas las tardes aunque fuera media hora para colorear y así ir poco a poco completando las muñequitas y poder hacer luego las tarjetas. Aunque me sintiera cansada o mal de salud me obligaba a sacar ese ratito. ¡Dañé no sé cuantas! jajaja! Pero queria que quedarán perfectas o al menos a mi gusto! jeje! No saben cuanto practiqué y logré mejorar pintando y me siento muy contenta y satisfecha. A mi amiga le gustaron mucho las tarjetas y ¡yo feliz! ;-) Usé imagenes de Magnolia en todas las tarjetas pues definitivamente son las más lindas para esta temporada.

OMG! I can't belive how hard it is to maintain this blog! I admit it! ... I find it hard! Although I try, I swear! My work and other projects keep me busy and with no time to update it more often. But everything has been fine Thank God! Enjoying a peaceful Christmas with my family and BTW I want to wish all a peaceful and beautiful Christmas filled with much joy, time with family and above all peace!

Well I'm finally here with some cards that I've been working on and want to share with you.

A very good friend asked me to prepare some Christmas cards to give away this Christmas. And I gladly said yes. This exercise was very positive! I managed to organize my time and took some little time every evening to color the images so I could gradually complete them all and then be able to make the cards. Although I felt tired and sometimes ill.. I forced myself to dedicate at least half hour to color. I don't know how many times I messed up! LOL! But I wanted to be perfect or at least to my taste! hehe! But I practiced a lot and improved a little bit on my painting and I feel very happy and satisfied. My friend loved the cards and I was happy! ;-) I used Magnolia images on all the cards because they are definitely the most beautiful images for this season.

Aquí está la primera. Los papeles son de la colección de navidad de Girl's Paperie y los colores ¡me fascinan!

Se abre en el centro para encontrar otra tarjeta más pequeña con el sentiment o frase en ella.
It opens in the center where you could find another small one with the sentiment on it.

¡Hola! ¡Espero te encuentres bien! Aquí disfrutando de este lunes libre... ahhh! Ando con la musa en high así que a aprovechar y a crear una clase que próximamente tengo que ofrecer. Quiero mostrarles esta tarjeta que hice por encargo de mi Jefa. Quedó tan encantada con la que le regalé que quiso obsequiarle una parecida a una amiga que vive en Noruega. Nuevamente coloreé a Tilda y utilicé papeles de las lineas Creative Imaginations, My Mind's Eye y S.E.I., florecitas son Recollections y el sentiment lo diseñé yo. A mi jefa le encantó... espero que a su amiga le guste tambien!

Hello! I hope you are well! I'm enjoying a sunny holiday here... ahhh! I have my muse on high so I will take advantage or it and try to design a class that I have to offer soon. I want to show you this card I made by request of my boss. She was so delighted with the one I gave her for her b-day that she wanted to give one like hers to a friend who lives in Norway. :-) I colored Tilda again and used papers from Creative Imaginations, My Mind's Eye and SEI, flowers are Recollections and I designed the sentiment myself. My boss loved it ... I hope her friend likes it too!

¡Hola nuevamente! Luego de la visita de Irene, varios días sin agua ni energía... ya estoy de vuelta a la rutina agradecida siempre de no hubo mayores daños en mi área y Gracias a Dios estamos todos bien en mi familia! Aunque si hubo daños en muchos otros pueblos de la isla. Espero que pronto todo vuelva a la normalidad y no nos visite otro de estos fenómenos.

Esta tarjeta la hice para mi Jefa quien cumplió años hace una semana. Esta vez coloreé a Tilda y usé nuevamente papeles de la colección Pretty Please de My Mind's Eye. ¡Estoy tratando de utilizarla al máximo! jeje! Flores recollections, cinta American Crafts y la frase la diseñé yo! ¿Qué te parece?

Hello again! After Irene's visit, several days without water or power ... I'm back to routine,always grateful no major damage in my area and thank God we are all good in my family!Although there was damage to many other places of the island. I hope everything returns to normal soon and we don't have the visit of another of these phenomena.

I made this card for my boss'sbirthday a week ago. This time I colored Tilda and used papers from My Mind's Eye Pretty Please collection again. I'm trying to use it to max! LOL! Flowers from Recollections, ribbon from American Crafts and I designed the sentiment myself! What do you think?

Hola! Aquí al fin luego de más de un mes sin actualizar el blog. Todo bien! Solo disfrutando de muchos cambios positivos en mi vida! jeje! Y hoy aquí en casita esperando que mejore el clima ya que Emily anda por estos rumbos dejandonos mucha lluvia. Quiero mostrarles un par de proyectitos que trabajé en las pasadas semanas. La primera es una tarjetita de cumpleaños para una amiguita muy especial. El stamp es de Odd Girl, papeles de la colección Pretty Please de My Mind's Eyes y claro coloreada con mis Copics.

Hello! Here at last after more than a month without updating the blog. Everything is alright! Just enjoying many positive changes in my life! LOL! And today at home waiting for a better weather as Emily its here leaving us plenty of rain. I want to show you a couple of projects I worked on in recent weeks. The first is a birthday card for a very special friend. The stamp is from Odd Girl, papers are from the Pretty Please collection from My Mind's Eyes and I colored it with my Copics.

Además hice estas cajitas como regalitos de cumpleaños. Son de madera decoradas con papeles de las lineas Prima y Webster Pages. Flores son Prima y Recollections. Dentro tienen unos cuadritos de chipboard decorados y con fotos. La idea es colocarlos en el interior como si fuera un marquito y poder girarlos para mostrar las otras fotos.

Also I made these boxes as birthday gifts. They are made of wood (from Michael's) decorated with paper from Webster Pages and Prima Marketing collections. Flowers are from Prima and Recollections. They have a few chipboard squares of chipboard decorated and with photos. The idea is to place them inside like a small frame and they can be rotated to display the other pictures.

¡Hola! ¡Ya estoy de vuelta! jaja! Mis disculpas por no actualizar mi blog en las pasadas semanas. Muchas de ustedes sabrán que estuve ocupada trabajando para el Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event que se llevó a cabo este pasado fin de semana en el Centro de Convenciones de Puerto Rico. ¡Un total éxito! Tuvimos la oportunidad de tomar clases y conocer a Tim Holtz, Donna Downey, Margie Romney, Heidi Swapp, Glitz Girls, Trisha Ladouceur, Ashlee Jorgensen y Nana Campana! Muchas horas de trabajo y esfuerzo para que fuera un éxito y todas las asistentes disfrutaran ¡al máximo! Una experiencia única para las chicas y para el equipo de trabajo un satisfacción inmensa saber que se logró la meta. Tuvimos chicas de Venezuela, Brazil, Canada, Republica Dominicana, Canada...!!

Lo más divertido del evento fue el Iron Scrapbook Challenge la noche del sábado. Todas nos disfrutamos el show con Tim, Margie, Donna, Laura y Ginger mientras en una hora crearon un canvas con los materiales que se le suplieron más un "ingrediente secreto" así como el Iron Chef Challenge del Food Network. ¡Estuvo genial! y creo que los maestros lo disfrutaron tanto o mas que nosotras.

Quiero compartir con ustedes algunas fotos que pude tomar en el evento.

Hello! I'm back! LOL! My apologies for not updating my blog in recent weeks. Many of you know I was busy working for the Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event that took place this past weekend at the Puerto Rico Convention Center. A total success! We had the opportunity to take classes and meet Tim Holtz, Donna Downey, Margie Romney,Heidi Swapp, Glitz Girls, Trisha Ladouceur, Ashlee Jorgensen and Nana Campana! Many hours of work and effort to make it a success and all attendees would enjoy to the fullest! A unique experience for the girls and a great satisfaction for the staff to know that the goal was achieved. We received the visit of girls from Venezuela, Brazil, Dominican Republic, US and Canada!
The most fun part of the event was the Iron Scrapbook Challenge Saturday night. We all enjoyed the show with Tim, Margie, Donna, Laura and Ginger in an hour while they created a canvas with materials that were supplied including a "secret ingredient" just like the Iron Chef of The Food Network. It was awesome! and I think the teachers enjoyed it as much or more than us.

Verdaderamente pasamos un fin de semana super ¡creativo, divertido y especial! Las horas de esfuerzo, trabajo, pocas horas de sueño, stress etc... valieron la pena pues fue un evento para la historia. :-) ¡Hasta el año próximo!

Hola! Espero hayas tenido un lindo Día de las Madres y un fin de semana super especial con tu familia y seres queridos. Yo estoy bien.. gracias a Dios! Ocupada en varias cosas, proyectos para el Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event, artes, promociones... en fín muchas cosas por trabajar pero muy animada y con la musa en la casa así que woohoo! ;-)

Quiero mostrarte la tarjeta que le preparé a mi Mamita para el día de las Madres. Siempre le pongo mucho cariño a todo lo que hago pero en esta tarjeta puse tanto amor que ni queria entregarsela! jajaja Bromas! Son de estos proyectos que desde que lo imaginas en tu cabeza hasta que lo llevas al papel todo te sale como quieres o mejor de lo que esperas! Queria algo colorido y queria conseguir un stamp chulisimo que tuviera una nena pues yo soy hija única en el matrimonio de mi padres y siempre he sido la nena de la casa aunque me cueste admitirlo a mis 38. En la escuela siempre me bromeaban por mis ojos grandes... y Mami tambien lo hacia y aún lo hace, por eso queria una imagen con ojos expresivos y queria colorear algo diferente. Consegui esta imagen que inmediatatemente me enamoró en One Odd Girl. Los colores del vestido los pinté iguales que un modelo que vi en su galeria pues a la verdad me fascinó y los colores iban perfectamente con los papeles! Lo único diferente es el color del pelo, ojos y zapatos. Los papeles son de la colección DeLovely de Cosmo Cricket, Bo Bunny, My Mind's Eye y rubons de Melissa Frances

Hello! I hope you had a nice Mother's Day and a very special weekend with your family and loved ones. I'm fine! Busy on several things, projects for the Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event, arts, promotions... Many things to work but very upbeat and with the muse in the house so woohoo! ;-)

I want to show you the card I designed for my Mom for Mother's Day. I always put a lot of care to every project I do but I put so much love in this card! I love the results... I didn't want to give it to her! LOL!! jokes! This card was one of those projects that you keep designing in your head, and when you put on paper everything goes as you want or better than you expect! I wanted something colorful and wanted to get an image that had a little girl because I'm an only child in of my parents marriage and I have always been the baby of the house even though I have trouble admitting it at my 38. LOL! Kids always teased me about my big eyes at school... So did Mom and still does, so I wanted a picture with expressive eyes and I wanted to color something different so I spend a couple days looking for a special image. I got this image that I fell in love with inmediately at One Odd Girl. I painted the dress the same way as a model I saw in their gallery because It was perfect with the color combination of the papers! The only thing different is the hair color, eyes and shoes. Papares are from DeLovely collection from Cosmo Cricket, Bo Bunny, My Mind's Eye and Melissa Frances rubons.

Así abre la tarjeta.. es como un trifold pero la portada abre hacia arriba y donde está la imagen abre hacia el lado y luego se encuentra el mensaje.

This is how the card opens. Looks like a trifold card but the cover opens up, then the part where the image is opens to the side and then you see the message.

¡Hola amigas! Espero que esten bien y hayan disfrutado de los pasados dias de descanso. Yo la pasé organizando mi cuarto de scrapbooking y ¡aún no termino! Tremenda odisea considerando que me gusta guardar todo! Pero llegó la hora de deshacerme de todo lo que ya no uso. ¡Afuera lo viejo, venga lo nuevo! jaja! Falta mucho por hacer todavia.. espero terminar antes de verano. jaja!

Quiero mostrarte esta tarjetita tipo "easel" pero con una pequeña variación. Queria intentar una "easel" pero queria que fuera diferente. Así que en vez de hacerla del tamaño completa de la tarjeta solo cree el "easel" en la parte de arriba donde está la chica de Greeting Farm con su vestido rojo! ¿Les dije que estoy enamorada de estos stamps?? Utilicé una de mis combinaciones favoritas.. negro, rojo y crema esta vez. Los papeles son algo viejitos pues son Scenic Route, cardstock Bazill, perlitas son Pebbles, Inc. y el rub on de Spanish Memories. ¿Que les parece? ¡Que tengan una linda semana!

Adorable! Easel with a twist!

Hi friends! Hope you're all ok and have enjoyed your spring break. I spent my free days organizing my scrapbook room and still its not finished! Huge ordeal considering that I like to keep everything! But it was time to get rid of everything that I do not use. Outside the old, bring in the new! LOL! Still needs a lot be done but I hope to finish before summer.. LOL!

I want to show this little easel card with a slight variation. Wanted to try this type or card but I wanted to be different. So instead of making the easel full size of the card, I only created the easel at the top where the Greeting Farm girl is with her red dress! Did I tell you I'm in love with these stamps? I used one of my favorite combinations .. black, red and cream this time. The papers are some old Scenic Route papers, Bazill cardstock, beads are Pebbles, inc. and Spanish Memories rub on. What you think? Have a nice week!

Hola!! Espero que estés bien. Nuevamente por aquí para mostrarte esta tarjeta que hice para una amiguita muy especial en su cumpleaños. ¡Me encantan sus colores! Utilicé papeles de la colección Fine and Dandy de My Mind Eyes. Flores Recollections (rosadas), frase de House of 3, Glitter dot y flourish de Pebbles, inc.

Y ya llegó el receso de Semana Santa para nosotros o Spring Break en otros lugares! Semanita para descansar y dias de recogimiento espiritual. Que la pases divino en familia y en la iglesia de tu preferencia pero sobre todo una semanita llena de paz!

¡Feliz viernes a todas! Hoy te muestro esta tarjeta que terminé esta mañana. Nuevamente utilicé los nuevos stamps de Greeting Farm que honestamente ¡me encantan! Hace tiempito habia querido intentar pintar una de estas muñequitas al estilo gotico así que esta imagen fue perfecta. Utilicé papeles de la colección Rockstar de DCWV que tenia por alli guardada sin usar jeje!. Las florecitas son Recollections, rub ons de Luxe y Melissa Frances.

Happy Friday! Today I want to show you this card that I finished this morning. I used a Farm Greeting stamp from the new collection and honestly I love them! I've been wanting to color one of these gothic style dolls so this image was just perfect. I used papers from DCWV Rockstar collection that I got a time ago. The flowers are from Recollections, Luxe and Melissa Frances rubons.

Espero te encuentres bien! Una nota rápida para mostrarte esta tarjeta que hice para la mamá de Michael quien cumple 80 años en unos dias! Imaginan la emoción que sentí al poderle diseñar algo a alquien tan importante para él. Utilicé papeles de la colección Hopscotch de Basic Grey, stamp de Greeting Farm y copics. ¡Espero que le guste!

I hope you are well! A quick note to show this card I made for Michael's mother who turns 80 in a few days! Imagine the excitement of being able to design something to someone so important to him. I used papers from the Hopscotch Collection from Basic Grey, stamp from Greeting Farm and I used Copic markers. I hope she likes it!

Mi corazón está en Japón...

Desde el viernes 11 mi corazón no ha dejado de apretujarseme en el pecho cada vez que veo imagenes de la devastación y destrucción de Japón tras el terremoto y tsunami. Jamás pensé ver algo tan impresionante y triste en mi vida.. sin mencionar el horror que me causa el pensar vivir una experiencia así. Y no solo con lo horrendo del terremoto si no ahora con el peligro que enfrentan miles por la destrucción de la planta nuclear. Ver a tanta gente abandonar sus casitas que no sufrieron daños en el terremoto pero que ahora si están en peligro ante la radiación me parte el corazón. Como diria Mafalda, tengo una pajita en el animo. Y sé que no soy la única, sé que el mundo entero comparte este sentimiento. La gente de Japón necesita nuestra oración y nuestra ayuda. Pido a Dios por calma... que cesen los temblores pues aún tiembla, para que al menos las personas puedan sentir menos temor. Pido resignación para quienes perdieron a seres queridos o lo perdieron todo y pido fuerzas y valor para que puedan levantarse. Primero fue Haiti, despues Chile... y hora Japón. Creo que de todos el más terrible ha sido Japón. Por favor si no lo has hecho ya, has alguna aportación a la Cruz Roja o alguna otra entidad que pueda llevar ayuda.

Pero hay algo más que me entristece. Quien me conoce sabe que soy amante de los animales y mascotas. Hoy Japón tiene cientos de mascotas perdidas, huerfanas sin dueños. Las fotos y los reportajes son sencillamente tristes. Me parte el corazón ver cuantos animalitos hay sufriendo... quizás buscando a su dueño, su amigo. Como en esta foto que hoy recorre internet... donde el amo se reencuentra con su perrito:

O esta foto donde la dueña se aferra a la compañia de su mascota. Quien sabe es lo único que le queda. La carita del gatito se parece tanto a la de mi Maya...

Puedo imaginar el dolor y sufrimiento ante la perdida de seres queridos y la perdida de todo por tan lamentable suceso. La ayuda humanitaria les llegará y podrá recuperarse poco a poco. Las cientos, quizás miles de mascotas que están perdidas y huerfanas sufren mucho más aún si no reciben la ayuda y compasión de algún humano. Muchos quizás podrán reunirse con su familia... pero muchos otros no. Por eso ya hay varias organizaciones de rescate intentando salvar las vidas de la mayor cantidad de mascotas posible que hayan sobrevivido el terremoto y tsunami. Una de ellas lo es la organización Global Animal Puedes leer información de como ayudar a estas mascotas si tu corazón te mueve a ello. Y tambien te comparto este pequeño link de donación directa.

No dejemos de orar... de pedir a Dios por Japón y su gente. De pedirle a Dios por el mundo que tanto lo necesita y sobre todo pedirle protección para mi linda islita, Puerto Rico. Hoy son ellos, mañana podemos ser nosotros. Gracias por leerme...

Practicando con distress inks!

Hola! Feliz domingo! Espero te encuentres bien. Yo al fin tomando un break luego de una ajetreada semana. Quiero mostrarte esta tarjetita sencilla que comencé el miércoles y HOY!! pude terminarla... colocaba un detallito aqui, otro allá durante las mañanas mientras esperaba el café jaja! Cada vez es menos el tiempo para inventar pero siempre hay que sacar el momento de poner a producir la creatividad. Habia querido intentar los distress inks desde hace un tiempito pero con temor pues se que no es fácil. Pero luego de una demostración de Yani, una talentosa amiguita bloguera puertorriqueña, vi que no es tan dificil... pero como toda técnica necesita practica y mucha! Luego encontré unos tutoriales en internet y me animé a intentarlo. Este fue el resultado luego de dañar como 4 conejitas jaja! Aún me falta mucha práctica pero creo que logre aprender algo! Ademas necesito conseguir el papel perfecto para pintarlas. En esta use papel regular de acuarelas por eso la textura tipica de estos papeles. Los papeles son de la colección For Peep's Sake de Imaginisce, rub-on de Melissa Frances y las bellas flores fueron un regalo de dos amiguitas que quiero mucho!! ;-)

Hello! Happy Sunday! I hope you are well. Me? ...finally taking a little break after a busy week. I just want to show you this card I started on Wednesday that I could finish TODAY! I put a little something here, another there in the mornings while waiting for my coffee LOL! With less time to create I always try to find the time to put my creativity into production. I've wanted to try the distress inks for a while ago but a little afraid beacuse it is not easy. But after a demonstration from Yani, a talented puertorrican blogger girlfriend, I saw its not that hard... but like any technique takes a lot of practice! Then I found some tutorials on the internet and encouraged myself to try. This was the result after damaging like 4 bunnies LOL! I still have a lot to practice but I think I managed to learn something! Also I need to find the perfect paper to color.. I used a regular watercolor paper on this one thats why you see the usual texture from this papers. Papers are from For Peep's Sake collection from Imaginisce, rub on from Melissa Frances and the beautiful flowers were a gift from two special friends that I love very much!

Tambien te muestro estas dos páginas que fueron la clase que tuve la oportunidad de enseñar ayer sábado. Fue muy grato conocer chicas nuevas adictas en este hobby y fue un dia muy productivo y gratificante pues les gustaron los proyectos que con tanto cariño se les preparo y estuvieron muy contentas. I also share this two pages that where a class I have the oportunity to teach yesterday. It was so cool meeting new girls addicted to this hobby and it was a very productive and rewarding day because they loved the projects that we prepared with love! Thanks to all! ¡Hola! Espero te encuentres bien. Te comparto esta tarjetita que hice para el reto #75 de Claudia and Company en donde el tema es About a Boy. Me encantó el tema pues hace tiempo estoy por dedicarle una tarjeta hecha por mi a alguien muy especial en mi vida. El titulo? ¡Chico peligro! o ¡chico peligroso..! Cuando comencé a compartir con Mickey (ya sabes su nombre jijij) y nuestra amistad se fue volviendo mas fuerte a veces pensaba "hay algo acerca de él que me atrae, esto esta peligroso" ¡jaja! Y a veces le decia "Chico peligroso" por lo que representaba a nivel sentimental... ¡un peligro para mi corazón! Esto en el buen sentido pues no estaba buscando relación alguna pero divino peligro jijij inevitablemente... ¡se robó mi corazón! ;-) ¡Chico malo!! jajajaja! Los papeles que utilice son de la colección Vagabond de Basic Grey. Algo viejita pero me encantaba tanto que la tenia guardadita para algo especial. Los colores espectaculares... bien varoniles. El stamp digital de Greeting Farm y coloreado con Copics. Los embellishments en chipboard de la colección Static de Crate Paper. ¡Espero le guste!

Hello! I hope you're fine. I want to share this card I did for the challenge # 75, from Claudia and Company in which the theme is About a Boy. I loved the theme because I've been wanting to do a card for someone special in my life. The title? Danger boy! When I started sharing with Mickey (now you know his name LOL) and our friendship was getting stronger, at times I thought "there is something about him that attracts me, this is dangerous". And sometimes I called him "Danger boy" but just because of what he was representing sentimentally... a danger to my heart! This in a good way because I was not looking for any relationship but inevitably, divine danger... He stole my heart! ;-) Bad boy! LOL! The papers I used are from the Vagabond collection from Basic Grey. A bit old but I loved it so much that I was keeping them for something special! Their colors are spectacular, rather manly. The digital stamp is from Greeting Farm, colored with Copics. The chipboard embellishments are from the Static collection from Crate Paper. I hope he likes it!

Hola! Espero te encuentres bien! Yo muy bien.. contenta pues hice mi primera tarjetita de valentines! YAY! jaja! Utilice la colección Sugar Rush de Basic Gray con colores un poco distintos a los que generalamente distinguen la celebracióon de San Valentín pero chulisimos y coloridos! Continuo practicando con los Copics y me encanta colorear con ellos. Me relaja mucho cuando lo hago y creo que voy mejorando jeje!

Hello! I hope you are well! I'm doing fine... happy because I made my first valentines card! YAY! LOL!! I used the Sugar Rush collection from Basic Gray with colors slightly different from those that usually distinguish Valentines celebration as vibrant red, but very cute and colorful! I continue practicing with Copics markers and I love coloring with them. It relaxes me a lot when I do and I think I'm getting better lol!

Hola! Les deseo un nuevo año lleno de mucha salud, bienestar y cosas maravillosas! Que este año sea definitivamente mucho mejor que el 2010! Asi será con el favor de Dios! Les muestro un calendario que hice para mi escritorio y es muy fácil de hacer. La base es uno de esos marquitos para fotos de acrílico que consigues en cualquier tienda. El mio lo compré en Walgreenss. Los huequitos para las argollas se las hice usando un taladro. Usé la colección de papeles de la colección Thinking de Fancy Pants, cardstock en combinación y embellishments de la misma linea planos especificamente stickers para no crearle mucha dimensión y evitarle el peso. La portadita es un pedazo liviano de acrílico.

Hello! Wishing you a great new year full of health, wellness and wonderful things! This year will be definitely much better than 2010! So be it with God's favor! I will show you a calendar I made for my desk and is very easy to do. The base is one of those little acrylic picture frames you can get in any store. Mine is from Walgreens. The little holes for the rings were made using a drill. I used papers from the Thinking collection from Fancy Pants, combined cardstock and flat embellishments from the collection, specially stickers to not create too much dimension and weight. The cover is a piece of acrylic.

Como ven las páginas con los meses están decoradas de manera sencilla para que al cerrarlo no se vea abultado y además no le reste balance al marco.

As you can see the monthly pages are simply decorated so it can't look bulky and to assure a well balanced frame.

Dentro del marco puse un papel con una foto mia y una frase. Pueden colocarse varias fotos de tus seres queridos, quizás fechas de cumpleaños o fechas importantes para tener a la mano. Yo decidí utilizar una foto mia para recordar que este año será mi año! jeje! ;-)

Inside the frame I placed a paper with a picture of me and a quote. You can place multiple photos of your loved ones, perhaps birthdays or important dates to keep on hand. I decided to use a picture of me to remember that this year will be my year! lol! ;-)

Este calendario es una buena idea para regalar aunque ya comenzó el año jeje! Gracias por tu visita!

Hola!! Espero hayan tenido una hermosa celebración en Acción de Gracias. Yo la pasé en familia y en la tranquilidad de mi hogar tomandome un merecido descanso. ;-)He estado muy bien... con mucho que hacer pero todo de maravillas. ..I'm back! Aquí estoy! jaja!

Esto de mantener un blog no es fácil... por más que lo intento siempre me olvido y me pierdo por meses. Sorry! jeje! Voy a tener que cambiarle el nombre "cuando puedo postear mis papelitos". Lo importante es que todo está bien, sigo trabajando mucho y dando clases en sábados alternos. Y continuo con mis embelecos que definitivamente son mi valvula de escape! Es necesario en este mundo de locura!! Y ya llegó octubre con mi celebración favorita.. Halloween!! Aquí les muestro la portada de un mini album de My Yellow Bicycle y una tarjeta con papeles de la coleccion Whoo-ligans de BoBunny. Como ven sigo practicando mucho con los marcadores Copic. Trying to post frecuently is not that easy.. no matter how hard I try!! I always forget, I'm always busy or simply go missing in action for months. Sorry about that! I'll have to change the name to "whenever I can share my scraps" LOL! But the important thing is that everything is ok! Working a lot and still giving classes on alternate saturdays. And of course I keep creating my "embelecos"! Thats my exhaust valve! We need it in this world full of crazyness! And october is here!! with my favorite celebration.. Halloween!! I made this mini album from My Yellow Bicycle for a class at the store. It has 5 envelopes with journaling cards inside. It was fun to make. Nuevamente usé los marcadores Copics pues necesito continuar practicando y está muñequita me fascina! Los papeles son de la colección Kioshi de Basic Grey una de las más lindas que han sacado al mercado.. claro esto en mi opinion pues ando ¡enamorada de esos papeles! Las flores y hojas son de Prima Marketing.

Hola! Al fin pude crear una tarjeta utilizando los Copics y los stamps de Magnolia! Realmente es un reto pintar con ellos pero me encanta el resultado! Necesito practicar mucho para lograr una mejor degradación de color ahh y claro más colores! jaja! Los papeles y la flor son de la nueva colección Green at Heart de Basic Grey, rubon Melissa Frances y perlitas tambien de Basic Grey.

Finally I've designed a card using my Copic markers and the Magnolia stamps! It is really a challenge coloring with them, but I love the results! I need more practice to achieve a better blending effect and of course more colors!! LOL! Papers and flower are from the new Basic Grey collection, Green at Heart, rubon from Melissa Frances and pearls from Basic Grey as well.

Pero además lo hice para celebrar la especial amistad que comparto con estas chicas. Y faltan amiguitas en esa foto pero me encantó la sonrisota que todas tenemos pues nos reunimos a ¿que más? a hacer un poco de scrapbooking! La excusa siempre perfecta para aliviar el stress de la semana y compartir con gente talentosa, genuina y alegre. No hay mejor terapia!

Eso es otra cosa que me encanta de este hobby, el conocer chicas super especiales, tan únicas tanto en personalidad como en creatividad. Hello!! I made this layout to participate in the Scrapper's Place facebook group challenge. That group is moderated by my friend Rebeca. But I also I wanted to celebrate the special friendship that I share with these girls. A couple of friends are missing in that picture but I loved the big smile that we all have as we gather to what else? to do some scrapbooking! The always perfect excuse to relieve the stress of the week and share with talented, genuine and happy girls! There is no better therapy!

WOW!!! ¡que muchos meses han pasado desde mi última entrada! Hasta verguenza siento jaja! Todo ha estado muy bien ¡gracias a Dios! Trabajando mucho en mi trabajo regular y en mi "part time" de los sábados. Aunque no muy activa creando... bueno, no tanto como antes. El pasado año fue uno muy dificil para mi. Quizás por eso mi musa iba y venia. Hubo meses en los que no sentí el más minimo deseo de crear ni siquiera una insignificante tarjetita que me gustara! jaja La creatividad depende mucho de nuestro estado de animo... así que mi creatividad en definitiva andaba de vacaciones. Aunque he tenido que diseñar páginas para clases pero nada que fuera para mí o trabajar mís fotos o proyectos.

Han sido meses de crecimiento, de busqueda, de perdón y de cambio. Y siempre queriendome por encima de cualquier cosa! Dandole valor a mis sentimientos y escuchando a mi corazón. Por eso trabajé varias páginas con fotos mias.. para nunca olvidar que no hay nada más importante que yo! Si yo me siento feliz... daré felicidad a otros! Como ven ya me siento nuevamente feliz y con animos de crear y hacer tantos proyectos que he dejado pendientes. Así que espero con el favor de Dios estar más a menudo por aqui mostrandoles mis trabajitos.

Hi!! I'm back (once again lol)

WOW! Many months have passed since my last entry! I feel ashamed haha! Everything is very well thank God! Working hard on my regular job and my "part time" on Saturdays. Although not very active creating ... well, not so much as before. Last year was very difficult for me. Maybe that's why my muse came and go. There were months where I didn't feel any desire to create even a negligible card that I liked! haha! Creativity depends a lot on our mood ...so my creativity was just on vacactions. Although I had to design pages for classes but none of my photos or projects.

Have been months of growing, of searching, forgiveness and change. But always loving myself above anything! Giving value to my feelings and listening to my heart. Thats why I worked several pages with my photos... so I never forget that nothing is more important than me! If I'm happy ...I will give joy to others! As you can see and feel happy again and seeking to create and finish many projects I've left incomplete. So I hope with God's favor to be more often here to share my little creations with you.

So, this page I created using an idea from Prima Marketing! Their new paper and flowers are beautiful!

¡Hola! Aqui nuevamente. Todo bien y con mucho trabajo a ¡Dios gracias! Les muestro dos páginas con la nueva colección Delilah de Bo Bunny. Muchas flores lindas y con colores chulisimos. Al fin diseñar páginas del Scrapbook Event auspiciado por una de nuestras tiendas locales Memory Box el pasado junio. Este eventó contó con la participación de Elizabeth Kartchner, la "Scrapbooker of the Year" de la revista Creating Keepsakes. La chica muy simpática y creativa y ni hablar de su esposo Collin. Ambos super agradables y fue un placer conocerlos a ambos! El evento estuvo genial. Mucho compartir y por supuesto mucho ¡¡scrapbooking!!

Two pages of a special event! Hello! Here I am again! Everything is good and with lots of work, thank God! Here are two pages with Bo Bunny's new collection Delilah. Beautiful flowers and nice colors. Finally I could design a couple of pages about the Scrapbook event hosted by one of our local stores Memory Box last june. This event was attended by Elizabeth Kartchner, Scrapbooker of the Year from Creating Keepsakes magazine. She was very nice and creative and not to mention her husband Collin! They're both awesome! It was nice meeting them! The event was great. A lot sharing and of course a lot of scrapbooking!

Hola! Espero se encuentren bien. Yo trabajando mucho! pero muy, muy bien! Aqui les muestro un mini album que hice para una clase. Es un mini album super sencillo y se hace con un solo cardstock 12 x12. En su interior lleva 4 tags para colocar fotos. Los papeles son de la colección Abbey Road de My Minds Eye.

Hello! I hope you're all right!! I'm very very good and working a lot! I'm gonna show you a mini album I did for a class. It is a super easy and simple mini album and it's made with a single 12 x12 cardstock. The interior carries 4 tags to post your pictures. The papers are from the Abbey Road collection from My Minds Eye.

Hola!! Aqui les muestro tres tarjetitas que hice para regalar a unas amiguitas especiales! Su medida es 5x5 y los pajaritos fueron diseñados en Illustrator y cortados en la Cricut utilizando SCAL (Sure Cuts a Lot). Para la primera tarjetita utilicé la colección de papeles Lemonade de Basic Grey. Para la segunda utilicé papeles de Ki Memories y para la tercera... papeles de la colección Cherry Hill de Oktober Afternoon.

Hello! Here are three cards I made as gifts for some special friends! They measure 5x5 and the birds were designed in Illustrator and cut using the Cricut SCAL (Sure Cuts a Lot). For the first card I used the Lemonade collection from Basic Grey. For the second one I used Ki Memories papers and the Cherry Hill collection from Oktober Afternoon for the third one.

¡Si, si, si lo sé! ¡He estado perdida! wow! Desde mayo no publico ¡nada! jajaja! ¡Pero aqui ya estoy de regreso... mucho más animada y con muchos deseos de continuar creando. He estado bien.. solo que mi musa, mi creatividad, mis animos... ufff! se fueron de vacaciones al parecer. No es que no hiciera nada de scrapbooking o tarjeteria, no podria dejar de hacerlo, ¡necesito crear! Es que no con la misma intensidad y ganas como realmente quisiera. Y como este verano ha sido uno muy tranquilo, en estas vacaciones solo me he dedicado a descansar en mi casita y retomar algunas cositas que habia dejado a un lado como este rinconcito. ¡Asi que al fin doy señales de vida! Les comparto esta tarjetita que hice para un cumpleaños de una amiguita especial. El cupcake en el circulito de "scallops" fue un regalito de mi amiguita Jessica. ¡Toda una moneria!

I'm back!

Yes, yes, I know! I've been missing! wow! I don't publish anything since may! lol! But here I am!! ...more animated and eager to continue creating. I've been good ...just my muse, my creativity, my mood ... ufff! were on vacation apparently. Not that I didn't create anything for scrapbooking or cards, I couldn't quit, I need to create! I did some stuff, but not with the same intensity and desire as they really wanted. And this summer has been a so relaxed and quiet so I've been in my house and picking up some stuff I had left to one side as this little corner. So I finally here I am! I did this card for a a special friend's birthday. The Cupcake in the scalloped circle was a little gift from my girlfriend Jessica. So cute!

muy temprano donde mi..! jeje Hace tiempo no cantaba esa cancioncita. Un lindo y tranquilo domingo aunque sin sol. Al parecer va a llover... humm eso entristece el ambiente pero aún así es un buen dia para crear. Mi musa a la que de ahora en adelante la voy a llamar Adelicia, LOL!! decidió quedarse esta vez y llevo una buena semana de inventos! Y aún sigo inventando... Utilicé los nuevos papeles de Die Cuts With a View Green para crear un par de páginas. Estos papeles están hermosisimos! Tienen uns pajaritos de lo mas monos! Pero pequeños.. así que decidí hacerlos en paper pieceing. Casí todos los elementos fueron cortados con la Cricut usando el maravilloso Sure Cuts a Lot(SCAL). Los pajaritos, las ramas, las hojas.. el marquito en "scallops". Estoy fascinada con el programita y todo lo que me permite hacer.. que les parece??

A little birdie came early today...

hehe Thats a little song I haven't sing in a longgg time!! Today is a nice, quiet Sunday but ...without sun. Apparently its going to rain ... humm that saddens my environment but it's a good day to create. My muse, who from now on I will call Adelicia, LOL! decided to stay this time!! YAY! and I had good week of creations! And still creating! I used Die Cuts With new collection, Green to create a couple of pages. These papers are beautiful! They have some little cute birds! But too small... so I decided to make them in paper pieceing. Almost all the elements in the pages were cut with my Cricut using the wonderful Sure Cuts a Lot (SCAL). The birds, the branches, the leaves.. the scalloped frame! I am fascinated with the software and all the things I can create! What you think?

Y esta tarjetita no es nueva pero habia olvidado postearla. Su tamaño es 3x3 y se ve monisima! Usé los papeles de la colección Ambrosia de Basic Grey.

And this little cards is not new, but I'd forgotten to post it. Its size is 3x3 and is so cute! I used papers from Basic Grey, Ambrosia collection.

¡Siii! ¡Lo sé, ando totalmente perdida y desconectada! Mis disculpas por eso..! He estado haciendome cargo de muchas cosas en mi vida, dedicandome tiempo y sobre todo reflexionando sobre muchas cosas que quiero emprender. Llevo un mes en el gimnasio y wooohooo he perdido 12 libras y me siento super! La musa solo me ha visitado para charlar jaja! y no me ha dejado mucha inspiración ni deseos. Pero ayer tuve que obligarme a crear algunas páginas pues he descubierto que aunque sea obligandome... la creatividad fluye si me lo propongo. No al 100% como quisiera pero al menos ocupo mis manos y la mente.

Estas son las páginitas que hago todos los meses para la tienda local donde colaboro. Están hechos con las nuevas colecciones de My Mind's Eyes Feeling Groovy y Love Bird.

Yeah! I know, Im missing in action! My apologies for that ..! I've been making so many things in my life, devoting time to myself and above all to reflect on many things I want to undertake. I've been one month in the gym and wooohooo!! I've lost 12 pounds and I feel awesome! My muse has visited me just to chat jaja! and has left me no inspiration or desire. But yesterday I had to force me to create some pages because I discovered that although it is forced... creativity flows if I propose it. Not 100% as I would like but at least I keep my hands and mind busy.

These are the layouts I do every month for the local store where colaborate. They are made with My Mind's Eyes new collections - Feeling Groovy and Love Bird.

Y les comparto esta canción de un grupo que me encanta mucho, Rascal Flatts y esta canción ha sido mi himno por las pasadas semanas! Quizás te sientas triste o perdida... como a todas nos pasa en cualquier momento. Solo ora mucho a Dios y deja que Él y el tiempo hagan su parte.. tu sólo levantate! Espero les guste.

Poco a poco me regresa la musa! y que bueno!! ya me estaba aburriendo! jeje Aunque trabajo no me ha faltado! Estuve haciendo unas invitaciones para una fiesta de Quince Años no muy tradicional si no que será un "Hula Pool Party". La quinceañera queria algo bien tropical y Hawaiano asi que le diseñe una tarjetita digital usando el tema de su fiesta y los colores brillantes.

Little by little my muse is returning! and thats so niceee! I was bored! hehe Although I had some work to do. I was a doing some invitations for a "Quinceañera" party (fifteen bday) not so traditional. The theme is a Hula Pool Party. The quinceañera wanted something tropical and Hawaiian so I designed a digital card using the party theme and the brilliant colors.

Y esta tarjetita la hice para una amiguita. Use unos scraps de Basic Grey que tenia en un organizador. Con lo lindos que son estos papeles de bebe!!

And I made this little card for a friend. I used some Basic Grey scraps that I found in an organizer. Those baby papers are so cute!

Y el dia San Valentin ya se acerca! Y las nuevas colecciones con este tema me encantan todas!! Como la nueva de Fancy Pants, Splendid! Con un robot y todo! La linea tiene un papel bellisimo que está dividido en 12 pequeñas tarjetitas como para regalar o preparar tarjetas. Así que aprovechando la musa hice esta tarjetita de amistad con una osita panda en 3D.

And Valentines day is near! And I love all the new collections with this theme! Like Fancy Pants new collection, Splendid! With a robot.. so cute! The line has a beautiful paper that is divided into 12 small cards that you can use as gift cards or prepare some nice cards with them. So I did this friendship card with a pretty 3D panda bear!

Diciembre se fue tranquilito... muy relax a pesar de las situaciones! jeje Pero enero ha comenzado con un ajetreo increible! Paresco una loca de tantas cosas que he tenido que hacer! Desde citas medicas, terminar unas invitaciones, preparar clases... arreglar mi casa! Espero que ya para febrero todo esté más en calma!! asi que enero.. vamos con calma, por favor!! jeje

Aqui es muestro unas paginas que hice anoche para una clase en la tienda local donde colaboro. Los papeles son de Sandylion de su linea Rouge de Garance y American Crafts. Las florecitas son hechas con los ponchadores Ek Sucess y el cardstock mi favorito de siempre Bazzill.

Take it easy january!!

December was quite slow ... very relaxed despite the circumstances! hehe But in january all has started with an incredible rush! I look like crazy with the many things that I have to do! from medical appointments, completing some invitations, preparing classes ... fixing my house! I hope that everything gets a little slower and calm in february. So january!! .. take it slow, please! hehe

Here are a couple of pages that I did last night for a class at the local store where I colaborate. The papers are from Sandylion Rouge Garance line and American Crafts. The flowers were made with Ek Success punches and my always favorite Bazzill Cardstock.

Al fin he podido dedicarle un par de dias a crear. Y me ha hecho mucho bien pues ha mantenido mi mente muy ocupada. Este pasado año fue uno lleno de muchos retos... y muchas cosas buenas! Pero jamás pensé que en el ultimo mes del 2008 mi vida cambiaria totalmente. Y luego de asimilar el cambio y de recibirlo con los brazos abiertos.. hoy me siento otra persona. Mi lema para este año será: YO PUEDO, LO MERESCO Y VOY A LOGRARLO!! Sea lo que sea! jeje Y con ese positivismo doy paso a muchas cosas nuevas en mi vida.. con el favor de Dios!

Aqui unas páginas con la nueva colección de Basic Grey, Bittersweet.. que está sencillamente hermosa! La pagina Romance es un "scraplift" de la galeria de Basic Grey. La diseñadora es Kelly Goree... la idea está bella!

Finally ...some pages!

At last I could dedicate myself to create. And it was so nice because it kept my mind busy. This past year was one filled with many challenges ...and many good things! But I never thought that in the last month of 2008 my life would change completely. And after dealing with the change and accepting it with open arms .. now I feel like a whole new person. My motto for this year will be: I CAN, I DESERVE IT AND I WILL ACHIEVE IT!!Whatever it is! hehe And with this positive attitude I'll allow a lot of new things in my life .. with the help of God!

Here a few pages with Basic Grey's new collection, Bittersweet .. that is simply beautiful! The Romance page was scraptlifted form Basic Grey's gallery.. the designer is Kelly Goree ...I loved the idea!

¡Mis disculpas por tener este rinconcito un poco abandonado! He estado un poco ocupada en el trabajo... además de otras situaciones que han requerido mi tiempo y atención. No he creado mucho pues no he tenido animo para nada. Pero ya poco a poco va regresando. Espero que el nuevo año comience mejor y me traiga muchos animos para seguir creando. My apologies for having this small corner a little bit abandoned! I've been a little busy at work ... in addition to other personal situations that have required my time and attention. Mientras el pavito se hornea y con una rica tacita de café... les deseo un Feliz Día de Acción de Gracias! Que pasen un hermoso día en familia disfrutando siempre de la compañia de sus seres queridos y amigos. ¡Sobre todo dar gracias a Dios por todas las bendiciones que recibimos en nuestra vida! Y ya hacen varias semanas que no posteo nada!! WOW! es que he estado ocupadita como siempre. Pero ya tengo un tiempito libre y por aquí estoy. What a beautiful day to spend with the family and to always enjoy the company of our friends and loved ones. Above all give thanks to God for all the blessings we receive in our lives! I would like to thank all of you, that I frequently visit me leaving your nice comments that I really appreciate and make my day! I'm also thankful for having health, love and creativity to be able to express myself in so many ways. Especially for this beautiful hobby that let me meet so many awesome and special people!

And WOW! Its been several weeks since my last post!I have been busy as always. But I already have a little free time and here I am. I want to show you first invitations that I prepared for a wedding. They were very simple and fun to do and the couple were so happy with them!

Tambien he estado creando tarjetitas navideñas. La primera fue para un intercambio. Utilicé los "embossing folders" de Cuttlebug y me fascinan!!! Creé el borde con texto usando Illustrator y en él coloque mis estrofas favoritas del Villancico Yaucano. Y la segunda es con los nuevos papeles de K&Co. pero con los embellishments en fieltro de la colección del año pasado.

Also I have been creating Christmas cards. The first one was for an swap. I used the Cuttlebug embossing folders and I love them! I've creatde a border using Illustrator and filled it with my favorite parts of the "Villancico Yaucano" (a traditional puertorrican carol) And the second one is with the new K&Co. Christmas Collection but with the felt embellishmentslast of year collection.

¡Y luego del almuerzo de Acción de Gracias entro directamente a la etapa Navideña y comenzaré a organizar y decorar todito para esta hermosa temporada! Gracias por visitarme!

¡Se acerca la navidad a pasos ajigantados! Ya llegó el frio en las noches y las mañanas super frescas.. ahhh no hay mejor temporada que esta. Tengo muchas ideas para esta navidad pues quisiera regalar detallitos hechos por mi pues creo tienen más significado. Esta bolsita para regalo la preparé para ella usando nuevamente SCAL. ¡Estoy loca con el programa! Me dá oportunidad de crear tantas cosas. Como queria usarla para ehcarle los regalitos quise usar papeles fuertes. Escogí los papeles de la colección Pocket full of Posies de DCWV y cardstock Bazzill bling. Me encantó... ¿que te parece?

.. for papelitos y cuentos! (scraps and stories) Today I'm celebrating one year into this blogger adventure! WOW time ran fast! Seems like it was yesterday that I came back from CKU, Orlando. That's why I started this small space... to share my experiences at CKU's and has been such an adventure.

Maintaining a blog is not as easy as it sounds. Many times the daily hustle and my other duties don't let me post as often as I want. But I think I've managed to show you many things that I've created and it is a pleasure for me to do so. I hope you like my creations (embelecos) and the little stories that sometimes I share. Recuerdan al Chiqui Dracula?? Un personaje super comiquísimo del programa infantil mejicano Chiquilladas. Era una versión miniatura de Dracula... o sea un Chiqui Dracula!! y daba "mello". Un reto que me encantó! pues como sabrán me encanta la música y Halloween tambien!! Ya saben que corrí rapidito a la colección de Cd's que tenemos Anibal y yo y encontré la carátula perfecta... aquí está:

Angra es un grupo de heavy metal de Brazil. Angra significa "malvado". Me inspiré en los colores muy de la temporada y en los circulos. Tambien recreé el marco usando una transparecia con un borde distresado. Aquí mi inspiración.. espero no te dé mello!! jeje!

¡Estoy super contenta! Hace un par de meses compré el programa Sure Cuts a Lot. Este programita permite utilizar los fonts o tipografias de la computadora para cortar títulos en la Cricut. Y no solo eso, si no que permite cortar imagenes en vectores incluso hasta diseñar figuras para cortarlas. Como trabajo en artes gráficas supe que este programita era perfecto para mí. Así que no lo pensé mucho y lo compré. Aunque logré instalarlo sin problemas, no fue hasta hace unas semanas que pude sentarme con tiempo a ver como funcionaba. Aun tengo problemas para grabar los .svg (scalable vector grafic) desde Illustrator (programa de diseño) para que SCAL (Sure Cuts a Lot) pueda leerlos sin problemas, pues no sé que pasa que solo me sale un recuadro rojo y vacio. Pero SCAL lee .svg's tanto de Illustrator como de Inkscape (programa que se obtiene gratis en la red y funciona bastante parecido a Illustrator) no tuve otro remedio que instalarle Inkscape ami computadora. Y ciertamente cuando una quiere hacer algo de todas formas, tiene que ingeniarselas!! jeje! Así que como manejo bastante Illustrator.. diseño lo que quiero en el y luego abro el file en Inkscape para grabarlo directamente de Inkscape en .svg y de ahi a SCAL y los files abren sin problemas. ¡No sé si me estoy explicando! Espero que sí... jeje Pero aqui les muestro tres tarjetitas que hice ayer.

I've been playing!

I'm sooo happy! A couple of months ago I bought the Sure Cuts a Lot software. This software allows you to use the fonts from the computer to cut titles in the Cricut. Not just that, it allows you to cut vector images and even design your own figures too. I work in graphic design so I knew that this software was perfect for me. I didn't thought it twice it and bought it. Although I managed to install it without any problems, it was not until a few weeks ago that I could sit down with time to see how it works. I'm still having trouble importing SVG's(scalable vector graphic) directly from Illustrator(design software) to SCAL(Sure Cuts a Lot) I do not know whats the problem but all I have is an empty red box. But SCAL can import .svg's from both Illustrator and Inkscape (a program that is obtained for free on the network and works quite similar to Illustrator) I had no choice but to install Inkscape on my computer. And certainly when you want to do something anyway, you got to be ingenious! jeje! I manage Illustrator quite well... so I just design what I want in Illustrator and then I open the file in Inkscape to save it directly into a Inkscape's .svg. Then import it from SCAL and the files open without problems. I do not know if I'm explaining myself! I hope so ... LOL! But here I'll show three cards I did yesterday.

La primera es una tarjeta con lado en "scallops". La diseñe un poco más larga para poder usarla de varias maneras pero en este modelo la corté de modo que el lado regular y el lado con scallop sean mas o menos del mismo tamaño. Y claro.. utilizando una de mis combinaciones favoritas!

The first card have one face with "scallops". I design it a little longer to be able to use it in various ways but in this model I cut it so that the regular side and the side with scallop are more or less the same size. And of course .. using one of my favorite combinations!

Esta otra es en forma de una barquilla con mantecado. ¡MMmm, rico! jeje! ¡Me encantó hacerle el tope de mantecado! La cherry y los detalles del papel tienen cristal laquer para hacerlas más deliciosas a la vista.

This one is in an ice cream cone form. Mmmm, yummmy! jeje! I loved to do the top of ice cream! The cherry and some details in the paper has crystal laquer to make them more delicious to the eye.

Y al parecer tenia hambre cuando jugaba con SCAL pues se me ocurrió hacer esta otra tarjetita en forma de bizcocho de cumpleaños. Diseñé la base y ambos adornos con scallops y ¡hasta la velita!

And apparently I was hungry when playing with SCAL because it occurred to me to do this other card in the form of birthday cake too. I designed the base and both ornaments with scallops and the candle too!

Hello!! Back again to share my recent layouts with you. The first one is part of Valerie and Janna's Sketches 102. Summer pictures again!

Esta otra página la preparé para una clase en una tienda local. Cuando me propusieron preparar una clase de algún parque de atracciones en Orlando accedí inmediatamente a hacer una página doble de Sea World.. mi parque favorito. Visité Sea World en el 2003 y aún no habia hecho ninguna página sobre el parque. Lo que más disfruté del parque fueron los pinguinos y el show the Shamú.. por eso decidí convertirlos en uno de los puntos focales en la página. Tanto los pinguinos como Shamu son en paper piecing al igual que el logo de Sea World. La idea era crear una ola gigante que corra de una página a otra igual que cuando Shamu brinca y moja a todo el mundo en el espectáculo.

This is another layout I prepared for a class at a local store. When I was suggested to design a class of some amusement park in Orlando I accepted immediately to make a double spread of Sea World... my favorite park. I visited Sea World in 2003 and hadn't yet made any page on the park. What I enjoyed most of the park were the penguins and the Shamu show .. that's why I decided to make those two animals one of the focal points on the page. Both the penguins and Shamu are made in paper piecing... and the Sea World logo as well. The idea was to create a giant wave that runs from one page to another like when Shamu jumps in the show and soaks everyone.

¡Que lunes tan pesado! Estoy agotadisima.... no descancé en el fin de semana y estoy mega cansada y adolorida. Tanto así que me quedé en casa. Así que mientras descanzaba en mi cama esta mañana hice las florecitas para hacer el reto de You Know You Rock de Deb y Julie. Esta vez el reto es utilizar metales en una tarjeta... Rockin' It Heavy-Metal Style!! Rápido que lei de qué trataba supe lo que queria intentar.. alambre! Así que conseguí alambre de cobre de varios colores e hice esta tarjeta.

What a heavy monday! I'm exhausted! I did not rest at all this past weekend and I'm so, so tired. So I stayed at home. So while I was resting in bed this morning I made some flowers for the Deb and Julie's You Know You Rock challenge. This time the challenge is to use metal on a card ... Rockin 'It Heavy Metal-Style! As soon as I read the challenge I knew what I wanted to try ...wire! So I got copper wire of various colors and did this card!

Y.K.Y.R. Rock the Cover Challenge

Hoy en la mañana recibí la visita de una talentosisima chica de Noruega en mi blog. Su nombre es Kristine y tiene un estilo bien único y chulisimo! Pueden ver sus trabajos aqui. ¡Gracias Kristine! Y mirando sus creaciones ví su participación en un reto donde debia inspirarse en la carátula de un CD para hacer una tarjeta. Así que por curiosidad visité el blog Y.ou K.now Y.ou R.ock donde se realiza este reto. De hecho este blog de retos es nuevo así que las invito a visitarlo y particpar con sus creaciones.

Como colecciono música, me pareció una idea genial. Digo colecciono pues soy de las que prefiero comprar los CD's pues me encantan. Mucho más si son de mis cantantes o grupos favoritos. Con la llegada del MP3 hay muchas personas que consiguen su música online y no compran los CD's. Así que me fuí rapidito a mi colección y saqué tres CD's... y de ellos escogí Bajo el Signo de Caín del inigualable Miguel Bosé.

Today in the morning I received the visit of talented girl from Norway on my blog. Her name is Kristine and she has a unique and awesome style! You can see her work here. Thanks Kristine! And while watching her creations I saw her participation in a challenge which she must inspire on the cover of a CD to create a card. So out of curiosity I visited the blog Y.ou K.now Y.ou R.ock where the challenge is. In fact this challenges blog is new so I invite you to visit it and participate with your creations.

As CD's collector , I found this a great idea!! I say I collect because I prefer to buy the CD's ...I just love them. Much more if they are my favorite singers or groups. With the advent of MP3 there are many people who get their music online and don't buy CD's. So I went quickly to my music collection and I took three CD's ... and then chose Miguel Bose's Bajo el Signo de Cain.

Copié los colores de la carátula... tonos cremas, azules tenues y marrones. Utilicé la idea de hacer un tipo de mosaico con cuadritos de papel distresados con lija y tinta. Algunos están irregulares tal y como la foto del CD. Y utilicé letras en bloque y de color blanco como el título. Me encantó el resultado!

I copied the colors of the cover ... cream, soft blues and brown tones. I loved the idea of doing kind of a mosaic with distressed paper squares (sandpaper and ink). Some are irregular like the ones in the cover. And Then I used white block letters as the title. I loved the result!

Si te gusta la lectura y además eres amante de los animales como yo.. te recomiendo este libro:

Acabo de terminarlo y es hermoso. John Grogan cuenta la historia de su fiel mascota por 13 años Marley, un labrador retriever amarillo que además de adorable era travieso, cobarde y neurótico ante los truenos y que lo acompaño a él, su esposa Jenny y a su familia en las etapas más importantes de sus vidas. La historia me encantó y no pude dejar llorar y reir... y volver a llorar. Es de estos libros que te quedan en la mente por mucho tiempo... es sencillamente inolvidable. Una de las partes que más me encantó es cuando el autor expresa la lección más hermosa que aprendió de su mascota: "A pesar de todo, todas las decepciones y las expectativas insatisfechas Marley nos dió un regalo, valioso y gratuito. Él nos enseñó el arte del amor incondicional. Cómo ofrecerlo, cómo aceptarlo. Donde existe esto las demás piezas caen en su lugar". Quien tiene o ha tenido mascota sabe el hermoso significado de estas palabras. Y que bueno que pronto llega la película al cine... ¡no puedo esperar para verla!

If you like to read and you are an animal lover like me, I recommend this book to you... Marley and me. I just finished it and is beautiful. John Grogan tells the story of his faithful pet for 13 years Marley, a yellow Labrador retriever that was mischievous as well as adorable, coward and neurotic when there was thunder and that was with him, his wife Jenny and his family in the most important stages in their lives. I loved the story and I could not stop laughing and cry ... and return to cry. Its one of these books that you keep in mind for a long time... is simply unforgettable. The part that I loved most is when the author expresses the most beautiful lesson he learned of his pet: "Despite everything, all the disappointments and unmet expectations Marley has given us a gift, priceless and free. He taught art of unconditional love. How to offer, how to accept it. Where there is that other pieces fall into place. " Anyone who has or has had a pet knows the meaning of these beautiful words. And its so awsome that the movie will be out soon ... I can not wait to see it!

Ahora quiero presentarte a la reina de nuestra casa. Nunca habia tenido gatos por mascotas aunque siempre me han gustado. Cuando conocí a Anibal siempre me dijo que le encantaban los gatos. Así que un tiempo despues de mudarnos a nuestra actual casa compramos a Maya. La traimos desde un mes de nacida y desde entonces ha sido la reina de la casa.

Now I want to introduce the queen of our house. I Never had a pet cats but I have always liked them. When I met Anibal, he always told me that he loved cats. So after a we moved to our current house we bought Maya. She was a month old when we got her and has since been the queen of the house.

Lo que amo de los gatos es su independencia y son tan ¡amorosos! Al menos Maya es cuper cariñosa. Solo necesita su agua limpia y fresca, su plato de comida lleno y su arena limpia y es feliz. Claro que tambien juega como una niña! Cada vez que voy a la tienda de mascotas tarigo algo nuevo para ella. Aunque su juguete favorito hasta ahora son los grillos que se cuelan bajo la puerta!

What I love of cats is their independence and that theyre so loving! At least Maya is sooo loving. She only needs her clean and fresh water, her plate full of food and a clean liter and she is happy. Of course she also plays like a baby girl! Every time I go to the pet store I bring something new for her. Although her favorite toy so far are the crickets that get in under the door!

Y estos chicos son mascotas de mis Padres (vivo en la casa de abajo a la suya) y los adoro como mios. Choky, Chester, Beto y la gata Mishu son los querendones de mi Papá y Mamá. No me pregunten por los nombres! jajaja! Solo puedo comentarles que Choky es el diminutivo de Chocolate y Beto cuando puppy era bien parecido a un San Bernardo.. y pues Beto por Bethoven (la película) El asunto es que de San Bernardo ni un pelo! jajaja Los cuatro son satos como decimos acá en Puerto Rico a las mezclas.

And these guys are my Parents pets (I live in the lower house) and I love them as they were mine. Choky, Chester, Beto and Mishu are my Dad and Mom babies. Don't ask me about the names LOL!! I just can say that Choky is the diminutive for Chocolate and Beto looked a lot like a St Bernard when he was a puppy.. so Mom decided to name it Beto like Bethoven. But the poor little guy doesn't have a hair of St Bernard!.

Holaaaaa!! Ya estoy de regreso... a este mundo bloguistico y en mi casita. Aún me queda esta semana de mis vacaciones y estoy literalmente sin hacer nada! Que rico! Tratando de terminar varios proyectos pero la tv me mantiene algo ocupada jijiji Queria mostrarles las cositas que trabajé antes de mis vacaciones pero ya prontito pues es una sorpresa. Mientras tanto les comparto más fotos de mis vacaciones.

Anibal, los chicos y yo tuvimos un lunes super divertido haciendo un poco de "snorkeling" en Mar Chiquita. Esta playita nos encanta por que está bien escondida y no es un balneario público aunque bien conocida, así que es mucho más tranquila. Yo me divertí tomandole fotos! El día estuvo hermoso y hasta los que estabamos en la playa tuvimos la visita de un manatí en el agua. Varios chicos que estaban nadando pudieron verlo y yo pude verle la cola cuando ya se marchaba a mar abierto... super!

Hellooo! I'm back ... to this blogger world and in my house. I'm still on vacation this week and I'm literally doing nothing! Awesome! Trying to finish several projects but TV keeps me busy hehehe! I want to show you the things that worked before my vacations but very soon! It's a little surprise. Meanwhile I'll share more pictures of my vacations.

Anibal, the kids and I had a super fun on monday doing a little snorkeling in Mar Chiquita. We love this beach that is well hidden and is not a public spa although well known, so it's much more quiet. I enjoyed Tom photos! The day was beautiful and even those who were on the beach we had the visit of a manatee in the water. Several boys who were swimming could see him and I could see the tail when itws going back to open sea ... So cool!

Luego miércoles nos fuimos a Yabucoa. Pasamos tres días en el Parador Palmas de Lucía en Yabucoa al sureste de la isla.

Then on Wednesday we went to Yabucoa. We spent three days in the Palmas de Lucia Parador in the southeast of the island.

El Parador es pequeño pero muy acojedor y muy tranquilo, perfecto para descanzar. La pasamos divino y los chicos disfrutaron muchisimo! Aunque ya habia visitado el área es la primera vez que paseo por sus playas y algunos lugares de interés turístico y es hermoso!

La Playa Lucía está a minutos del Parador, tiene un poco de oleaje pero es poco profunda y podiamos ver desde allí la Isla de Vieques.

The Parador (small inn) is small but very welcoming and very quiet, perfect for relaxing. I was awesome and the kidss enjoyed a lot! Although I already had visited the area is the first time I walk along its beaches and some tourist attractions and is beautiful!

Lucia Beach is minutes from the Parador, is a little bit of waves but isn't deep and we could see Vieques Island.

El viernes luego de salir del Parador nos dirigimos al Faro de Maunabo. Se llama Faro Punta Tuna y lo protege y mantiene el municipio de Maunabo. Tiene una vista espectácular y el trayecto hasta allí es increiblemente hermoso... montañas y costa en un mismo lugar.. bellisimo. Esta ruta es la Ruta Panorámica.

On Friday, after leaving the Parador we went to the Maunabo Lighthouse. It's called Punta Tuna Lighthouse and its protected and maintained by the municipality of Maunabo. It has a spectacular view and the journey there is incredibly beautiful... mountains and coastline in one place ... beautiful!!. This route is called the Panoramic Route.

En fín tuvimos unos dias extraordinarios de relajación, viendo paisajes hermosos de mi islita y lo que todo el mundo desea en sus vacaciones.. ¡desconectarse de la rutina!

To resume we had a few special days of relaxation, watching the beautiful landscapes of my little island and what everyone wants in their vacations... being disconnected from routine!

Ayer hice estas tarjetitas utilizando los sketches de GotSketches101 que ya va por su tercera semana y cada vez está más interesantes. Como me gustó mucho el sketch hice dos modelitos.. una tarjetita de agardecimiento hecha con la colección Sultry de Basic Grey y otra muy colorida para cumpleaños con papeles de TAC. ¡Gracias por echarle una ojeadita!

Yesterday I made these cards using GotSketches101 sketches. The class its already into its third week and is increasingly interesting. I liked this sketch a lot so I made two cards. Ya cumplimos tres años llenos de amistad, compañerismo y mucha creatividad. SB_Friends es un grupito creado por mi querida amiga Daly y en el cual tengo el honor de ayudarle a moderar y que a la verdad me ha llenado de muchas satisfacciones, alegrias y de amigas super especiales. Hemos crecido muchisimo y cada día somo más. La mayoria de las chicas son de Puerto Rico, pero tenemos de Colombia, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Perú y una mejicana super especial, mi querida amiga Liz! SB_Friends es un rinconcito en donde compartimos mucho más que scrapbooking... compartimos nuestras alegrias, tristezas, nuevos bebés, nuestros logros... y todo en franca camaraderia, con mucha honestidad y respeto! SB_Friends is celebrating its 3rd Anniversary!

Its been already three years filled with friendship, companionship and lots of creativity. SB_Friends is a small group set up by my dear friend Daly in which I have the honour to help moderate and that to be honest I have been filled with many satisfactions, joys and a lot of special friends. We have grown much and every day we are more. Most girls are from Puerto Rico, but we have girls from Colombia, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Peru and a super special Mexican, my dear friend Liz! SB_Friends is a little corner where we share much more than scrapbooking ... we share our joys, sorrows, new babies, our achievements ... and everything in franc camaraderie, with great honesty and respect! Yesterday we celebrated this special date. Thanks to all of the girls of SB_Friends! Happy Third Anniversary! And now a photographic recount of these three beautiful years.

El mejor Papá del mundo...!

¡Ayer fue un día espéctacular aunque no compartí mucho con mi Papito! Por lo general él visita a mis tios y algunos primos en el Día de los Padres y luego en la tardecita regresa a la casa a estar conmigo y con mi Mamá. Pero ayer luego de darle sus regalito y la felicitación me fui a visitar a mis suegros en Ponce y la pasamos genial. Esos viejos son tan especiales!! Tienen un humor divino y son super buena gente. Me siento honrada de ser parte de su familia. Almorzamos todos juntos.. incluyendo a todos las sobrinas de Anibal y la pasamos super bien con ellas. Y aunque llegamos en la noche super agotados, quise terminar uno de los Challenges de Got Sketch 101 y aquí está.. por supuesto dedicado a mi Papá... el mejor del mundo! jeje!

Best Dad in the World

Yesterday was so espectacular even when I didn't shared much time with my Dad! He loves to visit my uncles and some cousins on Fathers Day and later in the day he returns home to be with me and my Mom. But yesterday after I gave him his gift and congratulations and I went to visit my in-laws in Ponce and had great. Those two are so special! They have a divine humor and are super nice people. I am honored to be part of his family. We had lunch together ... including all the nieces of Anibal and we had an awesome time with them. Although we arrived at night soo exhausted, I wanted to finish one of the challenges of Got Sketch of 101 and here it is.. of course dedicated to my Dad ... the best in the world! jeje!

Este es otro proyecto de GotSketch101 pero para una tarjeta. Me pareció genial ajustarla para una invitación y ¡me encantó el resultado! La invitación es hibrida pues utilicé el kit digital bohemian Summer para prepararla y luego la imprimí tamaño 4x6 en un papel fotográfico. Utilicé papeles de Fancy Pants y cardstock Bazzill.

Someone is getting older!

This is another project from GotSketch101 but this time the sketch was for a card. I thought it was great to adjust it to do an invitation and I loved the result! The invitation is kinda hybrid!! I used Bohemian Summer digital kit to design it and then print it in a 4x6 photo paper. I used Fancy Pants papers and Bazzill cardstock.

Isla del Encanto

Así le decimos a este pedacito de tierra caribeño. Llena de hermosos parajes naturales y de hermoso colorido. Pero sobre todo de mucho calorcito humano y sabor. Este es el segundo sketch de GotSketch 101 de Valerie Salmon y Janna Wilson. Nuevamente utilicé papeles de Spanish Memories con la colección Piña Coldada.. dedicada a Puerto Rico. El journaling es un poema hermoso llamado Canto a Puerto Rico del ilustre José Gautier Benitez.

Enchanted Island

Thats how we call this little piece of caribbean land. Full of nature and wonderful colors! But most of all full of heat and flavor. This is the second sketch of GotSketch 101 from Valerie Salmon and Janna Wilson. I used Spanish Memories papers again. This time I used "Piña Colada" collection.. with the Puerto Rico theme. The journaling is a beautiful poem "Canto a Puerto Rico" from José Gautier Benitez.

Hola! No habia estado por aquí en los pasados dias pues estuve preparando un make-n-take como demostración para los productos Spanish Memories en una tienda local y casi no tuve tiempo de actualizar el blog. Todo fue de maravillas con el make-n-take! Muchas chicas nuevas interesadas en aprender scrapbooking. La pasé super y fue sencillamente relajante pues salí de la rutina un par de dias.

Little piece of paradise

Hello! I haven't been around in the past days because I was preparing a make-n-take as a demonstration for Spanish Memories products in a local store and hardly had time to update the blog. The make-n-take was awesome! Lot of new girls interested in learning scrapbooking. I had a great time, simply because I changed my routine for couple of days.

Pero lo que me tiene más animada aún es que me inscribí en Got Sketches 101 de Valerie Salmon and Janna Wilson! Les cuento que está genial! Dura tres semanas y de cada dos dias aproximadamente recibiré un nuevo sketch como tarea para hacerlo a mi tiempo. ¡Me encanta! Y aprovechando un tiempito libre hoy logré hacer el primer skecth. Utilicé las fotos de nuestras pasadas vacaciones y la colección de vacaciones de Spanish Memories. Así que ya estaré posteando todos las paginas que logre hacer en el curso. ¡Gracias por visitarme!

But what got me even more excited is that I enrolled in 101 Got Sketches with Valerie Salmon and Janna Wilson! Let me tell you that its totally awesome! It lasts three weeks and every two days approximately I'll receive a new sketch as a task to do at my time. I love it! And taking advantage of a free time today I managed to make the first skecth. I used the pictures of our last years vacations and Spanish Memories summer collection. So I'll be posting all the layots I can make during the clases. Thanks for visiting!

Un mal dia...

Aunque es viernes y ya la semana acaba.. hoy no es buen dia. Al menos no comenzó bien. Asuntos en mi trabajo están ocupando mi cabeza. Llevo dias sin animos para crear nada. Un poco frustrante la verdad...! Aquí ando dándole vueltas al asunto. Llevo meses recargada en mi trabajo... haciendo tareas de dos personas. Me siento agotada... física y mentalmente y la situación definitivamente no me hace bien. Pero ya veré como solucionarlo! Solo le pido a Dios paciencia y serenidad para lograrlo y no perder la calma en el proceso. ¡A ver si en el fin de semana regresa la musa!

A bad day...

Although it is already Friday and the week is ending... today is not a good day. At least it not started well. Situations in my work are occupying my head. I've been unable to create anything. A little frustrating, to be honest... Here I am giving turns to the matter. I've been so busy in my work, recharged with jobs... doing tasks of two people. I'm exhausted ... physically and mentally, and the situation does not make me any good. But I will find how to fix it! I'm just asking God for serenity and patience to achieve calm and not lose in the process. Lets see if my muse comes back in the weekend.

Gracias a Dios, al medicamento que tomé y que dormí más de 10 horas ... jeje estoy recuperada. Y se nota pues me desperté con ganas de crear. Hace unas semanas estaba pensando esta página dedicada a mi querida amiga Yolanda. Ella estuvo en PR en el mes de marzo pues su Mamá falleció. Fué una pena verla en esas circunstancias pero al menos pude ver a sus tres niños que han crecido muchisimo!! Además vi a su esposo, sus hermanas y sobrinos quienes fueron parte de mi niñez y los recuerdo con cariño. De eso trata la página... Cuando vi lo mucho que habian crecido sus chicos, ¡me emocioné mucho! Y no dejaba de mirarlos y decirle "están hermosos" o "se parecen tanto a tí".

Utilicé papeles, letras de stickers y die cuts de Pink Paislee una linea que me encanta. La flor en fieltro y el pajarito son de American Crafts, los rubons son Karen Foster y los stickers de frases son Making Memories.

I'm feeling better!

Thank God I feel better! And thanks to the medicine and that I slept more than 10 hours... hehe I'm recovered. And it shows because I woke up wanting to create. A few weeks ago I was thinking about this page which I dedicated to my dear friend Yolanda. She was in PR in march because her mom died. It was sad to see her in these circumstances but at least I could see her three children who have grown a lot! In addition saw her husband, her sisters and nephews who were part of my childhood too and I remember with affection. This is what the page is about ... When I saw how much her kids had grown, I got emotional. I coudn't stop looking at them and saying to her "they are beautiful" and "they look just like you". Papers, letter stickers and die cuts are from Pink Paislee. I love this line! The felt flower and bird are form American Crafts, rubons are from Karen Foster, sticker phrases are from Making Memories.

¡Increible! Esta es la tercera vez que me enfermo con gripe en menos de un año. Aquí estoy con la nariz roja como un tomate y la garganta irritada. Tendré que tomar mucha vitamina C para atacarlo enseguidita! Espero que no me dé tan fuerte como la vez pasada... fue horrible!! Al menos pude hacer esta divertida tarjetita en la mañana. Me encantan estos sellitos cómicos...!

This is incredible! I'm sick with the flu for the third time in less than a year. Here I am with the my nose red as a tomato and sore throat. I will have to take a lot of vitamin C to attack it fast! I hope it doesn't get as bad at the last time.. it was awful! At least I did this fun cards in the morning. I love these funny stamps..!
