Proyectos para Bebé

¡Hola nuevamente!! Quiero compartir con ustedes mis más recientes proyectos para una clase en Scrapbook Gallery de San Juan. Es un "open shadowbox" y una cajita decorada con tags en su interior.  El "shadowbox" está creado con chipboard (cartón duro) y ambos están decorados con la colección "Heaven Sent" de Prima Marketing. ¡Esta es una de las colecciones más hermosas que he podido trabajar! Todos los elementos son ¡bellos! ...desde las flores, los papeles, los animalitos y los colores.  La modelo es la bebé de mi sobrina. ¡Espero les gusten ambos proyectos!


Hello again!! I want to share with you my latest project for a class at Scrapbook Gallery San Juan , one of out local stores. It is an "open shadowbox"(no glass) and a decorated box with tags inside. The "shadowbox" is created with chipboard and both are decorated with the "Heaven Sent" collection from Prima Marketing. This is one of the most beautiful collections I've worked with! I LOVE IT! All elements are beautiful! ... from the flowers, papers, baby animals, colors... everything!! The baby model is the  my niece's first born Jixelly.  I hope you liked them!!

¡Maleta llena de recuerdos!

¡Espero se encuentren bien! Hoy quiero compartirles este proyecto que diseñé para la tienda Scrapbook Gallery aquí en Puerto Rico. Es una maleta mini album para fotos de viaje y está hecha completamente a mano. La medida es 6" de ancho por 9" de largo y 2 1/2" de profundidad. Los papeles y decoraciones son de la colección "Cityscapes" de Graphic45. Utilicé "chipboard"negro que vá muy bien con la colección. La cerradura es de metal y es súper económica. El mango es de las que se usan en gabinetes de cocina y puedes conseguir en cualquier ferreteria.

Hello!! I hope you are doing good! Today I want to share this project. It's a travel suitcase mini album that I designed for the Scrapbook Gallery store, here in Puerto Rico. It's made from scratch. The measure is 6" wide by 9" long and 2 1/2" deep. The papers and embellishments are from the collection Cityscapes from Graphic45. It's made with black chipboard because it works very well with that collection. The lock is a cheap metal one and the handle is one of those you get a hardware store for kitchen cabinets.

 

En el interior hay 10 páginas estilo "gatefold".  Un "binder" a cada lado que al cerrar se encuentran en el centro. En cada lado coloqué 5 páginas en cardstock negro para un total de 10. Las páginas tienen bolsillos con tags, inserts y fotos. Decoré con chipboards de la colección y elementos tales como sellos, tabs y die cuts.

There are 10 pages inside, designed in a gatefold style.  I placed a binder on each side that holds 5 black cardstock pages for a total of 10 pages, that meet in the center when it's closed. Some pages have pockets with inserts, tags and photos.  I used chipboards, tags and elements from the collection as postal stamps, labels and diecuts.

Fué un proyecto muy divertido de diseñar y me gustó mucho el resultado final. Le agradesco mucho a mi amiga Edna Bosch for facilitarme las fotos de su viaje a Europa. ¡Espero les guste!

¡Otro pocket letter!

¡Sí! Otro pocket letter y esta vez de Hello Kitty por que diganme.. ¿a quien no le gusta Hello Kitty! LOL! Este fué uno muy divertido para crear y fácil tambien. Va de camino a Wyoming, US. Espero que le guste a mi "pocket letter pal", Tiffi.

Yess! Another pocket letter and this time it's a Hello Kitty pocket letter... Who does not like Hello Kitty?  LOL! This was a very fun one to make and also very easy to create. It's is on its way to Wyoming, US.  I hope that my pocket letter pal Tiffi, likes it!!.

¡Pocket letter de Pascua!

¡Hola!  Este PL lo trabajé para Shelly de Kansas City.  Shelly y yo, ya habiamos intercambiado pocket letters de Valentines.  Fue de mucha alegria cuando ella me invitó a intercambiar nuevamente pero esta vez con tema de pascua. Yo muy animada acepté y este es el resultado. Esta hecho completamente con la colección "Bunnyvillle" de Doodlebug Designs. Me enamoré de esta colección por sus colores brillantes y los hermosos stickers. Espero que le guste.

Hi there! This is a PL I worked for Shelly from Kansas City. We had already exchanged a Valentine's pocket letter.  It was great joy when she invited me to swap again but this time with an easter theme . I happily accepted and this is the result!!  It's completely done with the " Bunnyville" collection from Doodlebug Designs. I fell in love with this collection for its bright colors and beautiful stickers. I hope she likes it!!

La primera fue un intercambio con tema "Rockabilly" (Años 50, Elvis, Rock'nRoll, etc.) Me encantó su colorido.

First one was a Rockabilly theme swap. I loved it!! So colorful!

Esta fue para un intercambio con tema de "Valentines". This one was for a valentines theme swap.

Mi más reciente Pocket Letter

¡Hola! Espero que te encuentres bien.  He estado trabajando varias cositas entre ellas una clase de mini album de Valentine's  y varios pocket letters. Este que les comparto hoy va para ¡Australia! Wow! ¡He intercambiado con chicas de Dinamarca y Alaska pero este es el primer pocket letter que viaja tan lejos. LOL! Espero que llegue bien y que a la chica de nombre Sarah, le guste.

El tema es "vintage Alice in Wonderland" y aunque me dió un poquito de trabajo me encantó el resultado. Los charms los conseguí en dos tienditas en Etsy.  ¡Me parecieron fabulosos para este proyecto! ¿Que te parece? 

Hey there! I hope you are well.  I've been working in a couple projects including a Valentine's mini album and several pocket letters.  This one I'm sharing with you today is going to Australia! Wow! I've exchanged with girls from Denmark and Alaska but this one is the first pocket letter traveling that far!! LOL! I hope it gets there safe and the girl, named Sarah, likes it . 

The theme is Vintage Alice in Wonderland and even when it gave me a little work,  I loved the result. I got the charms in two small shops on Etsy. They were great for this project! What you think?

Una página para mi sobrina

Muchas veces las bendiciones nos llegan de manera sorpresiva, cuando menos lo imaginamos o lo esperamos. Así le pasó a mi sobrina Jisele luego de 14 años de matrimonio. Ya pensaba que no podría tener un bebé. Pero Dios le tenia una sorpresa… y le regalo la dicha de quedar embarazada y ser mamá. Ya se convirtió en madre de una hermosa niña el pasado septiembre.  Tuve la oportunidad de hacerle un pequeño shooting antes de dar a luz y la foto en la página es una de sus favoritas. Así que decidí hacerle una página.

Los papeles y flores son de Prima Marketing. Tiene un poco de mixed media y para ser honesta me encantó el resultado. ¡Ella quedó fascinada con la página!

Some times blessings come to us by surprise... when we least imagine or expect them. That happened to my niece Jisele after 14 years of marriage. She thought she could not have a baby.  But God had a surprise gift ... the joy of getting pregnant and becoming a mom. She is now a mother of a beautiful girl that was born last September. I had the opportunity to make small shoot of her before giving birth and the picture on the page is one of her favorites.  So I decided to make her a page.  

The papers and flowers are from Prima Marketing. It has some mixed media and to be honest I loved the result. She loved the page!

¡Despues de tanto tiempo! • It's been so long!

¡No puedo creer que hayan pasado casí 4 años desde mi última actualización! ¡Hasta vergüenza siento... LOL! ¡Quiero disculparme por esto! De veras siento mucha admiración por quienes pueden mantener su blog al día. No solo con actualizaciones diarias si no también con proyectos nuevos. Sobre todo si tienen trabajo y familia. ¿Cómo lo logran? Sé que todo es cuestión de organizarse... ¡pero a mí se me hace taaaan díficil! Canceriana al fín. Pero les cuento que sigo trabajando en artes gráficas y tambien contínuo dando clases de scrapbooking al menos una vez al mes entre otras cosas. ¡Y gracias a Dios no he dejado de crear! He tenido momentos de dejadez o distanciamiento... pero siempre regreso a mi hobby. ¡Crear me mantiene cuerda y funcional! ;-)

Tengo muchos proyectos que quisiera compartir. Veremos si poco a poco logro poner este blog al día. Por lo pronto quiero contarles que estoy muy animada creando "pocket letters". Si no conoces lo que son "pocket letters" te cuento. Una chica de nombre Janette Lane creo la idea de los "pocket letters" y  son cartas por correspondencia en formato de pockets (bolsillos). Generalmente se utilizan los protectores de cartas de colección de 9 espacios. Básicamente, usted llena todos los bolsillos de una manera creativa y llamativa. Luego se envia toda la página a alguien que quiere intercambiar o a alguien querido.  Tambien se les incluye regalitos como sobrecitos de té, cintas, botones, washi tape, etc. y una cartita para la persona.  Existe una pequeña guia en su blog de como crearlos. Pero en realidad no hay reglas y creanme es ¡muy divertido!

Llevo mas de 7 meses haciendo e intercambiando "pocket letters" y estoy fascinada.  ¡Me encanta! Me permite mantenerme creando de una manera much más relajada pues al diseñar en un espacio tan pequeño (la medida del bolsillo es 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 pulgadas) es mucho más fácil. Además me ha ayudado a utilizar todos esos sobrantes de stickers, die cuts y decoraciones que tengo guardados. Y tambien he comenzado a utilizar colecciones que tenia guardadas por mucho tiempo. Y los intercambios los hago en el site: pocketletterpals.com.  Así que hoy en mi regreso al mundo bloguero quiero compartirles algunos de los PL que he creado e intercambiado. Mis disculpas por la calidad de las fotos pues las tomé con mi celular.


I can not believe it's been almost 4 years since my last update! I feel ashamed ... LOL! I want to apologize for that! I really feel a lot of admiration for those who can keep their blog updated. Not only with daily updates but also with new projects every day. Especially if they work and have family. How do they do it? I know all about being organized... but to me it's soooo difficult!! I admit it!! But let me tell you that I'm still working on graphic design and also I still give scrapbooking classes at least once a month. And thank God I have not stopped creating! I have had moments of sloppiness or distancing ... but always return to my hobby. Create keeps me sane and functional! ;-)

I have many projects that I want to share. We'll see if slowly manage to update this blog daily. For now I want to tell you that I am very busy creating "pocket letters". If you do not know what they are I will tell you. A lady named Janette Lane created the idea of ​​the "pocket letters" wich are letters of correspondence in the form of pockets.  Collector cards protectors of 9 spaces are generally used. Basically, you fill in all the pockets in a creative and attractive way. The whole page is then sent someone you to want to exchange or someone dear. I 've been creating and swapping "pocket letters" for more than seven months now and I'm fascinated. I love it! It allows me to keep creating in a much more relaxed manner as the design in a small space (the size of the pocket is 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches) and is much easier. It has also helped me to use all those leftover stickers, die cuts and decorations that I have saved for months. And I've also started using collections that had been stored for a long time.  I swap my PL on the site: pocketletterpals.com. So today on my return to the blogger's world I want to share some of the PL that I created and exchanged.
