Solucion Digital!

Cuando no hay tiempo para cortar papelitos... ¿por que no digital? Hace días que estoy tan ocupada que no he podido hacer nada! Y ya tenia la urgencia de crear algo... Asi que como trabajo todo el día frente la computadora, pensé en hacer una tarjetita digital. Y aquí el resultado... ¡me encanta! Digitalizé le imagen de un viejo catálogo de TAC y la lleve a Photoshop CS para darle color. ¡Quise que pareciera acuarela! y luego utilizé el kit Sun Porch de Amy Teets. La imprimí en un papel fotográfico 4x6 y se ve hermosa! ¿Que opinan?

When there is no time for scraps ... why not digital? I've been so busy that I'm unable to do anything! And had the urgency of creating something ... So, as I work all day in front of a computer, I thought about making a digital card. And here's it is... I love it! I scanned the image of an old TAC catalog and used Photoshop CS to give color. I wanted to look like watercolor! Then used the Amy Teets Sun Porch digital kit. I printed it in 4x6 photo paper and looks beautiful! What you think?

Andale! tengo un catarrón... (gripe, flu) Ando casi sin voz, congestionada y me duelen hasta las costillas! jejeje Pero por alguna extraña razón estoy con la musa arriba! Hice esta tarjetita:

Trate de copiar varios estilos de las expertas!! La tarjetita redonda, un estilo de Yani, la frase en español... las favoritas de Jay, la mariposita coloreada... usando tecnicas que aprendi de Marirose. Admito.. soy pésima estampando!! jajaj a excepción de frases y figuras. Pero colorear.. iuff! Me falta mucha práctica! hehehe

Además queria estrenar mis Nestabilities!! Gracias Jay por la recomendación! Son un éxito! Los conseguí con Rebeca en Scrappers Place! Están chulisimos!! Compré los ovalados, rectangulares y redondos. Puedes cortar y hacer emboss con ellos y se ven super, sobre todo por que son un poco mas grande que los ponchadores, asi que las posibilidades son muchas!

I tried to copy various styles from the experts! The round card, a style of Yani, the phrase in spanish.. Jay's favorites, the colored butterfly... with techniques learned from Marirose. I admit .. I am very bad stamping! haha except phrases and figures. But coloring .. uff! I need a lot of practice! hehehe

Also I wanted to use my Nestabilities! Thanks for the recommendation Jay! They are a success! I got them in Rebeca's online store, Scrappers Place! They're awesome! I bought the oval, rectangular and round. You can cut and emboss with them and they're super, especially because they are a little bigger than punches, so the possibilities are many!


Y quiero compartirles los "party favors" que hice para un swap acá en Puerto Rico. Son unas cajitas muy lindas cerraditas con un elástico con un tipo de broche hecho en scallop. Les estampé las flores con Versamark y las frases fueron impresas en el impresor y luego recortadas con unos ponchadores Jumbo y Giga de Marvy Uchida.

And I want to share the "party favors" I made for a swap here in Puerto Rico. It is a very cute little boxes, closed with an elastic and with a type of brooch made in a scallop. I stamped the flowers with Versamark and printed the phrases on my printer and punched them with a Marvy Uchida Jumbo and Giga Punches

Celebración de amor, amistad y esperanza!!

¡Hoy fue un dia estupendo! Como todos los meses nuestro grupo de Scrapbooking Friends de yahoogroups, tuvo su crop. Pero esta ocasión fue una sumamente especial pues además de la amistad que compartimos, la dedicamos a nuestra querida amiga Lourdes en celebración por su victoria contra el cancer!! Una mujer exepcional, con un valor admirable y de mucha fe!! Fue una actividad muy hermosa llena de alegria, compartir y mucho scrapbook!!! Ademas celebramos lo mucho que nuestro grupo ha crecido!!

What an awesome day!! Like every month our yahoogroup Scrapbooking Friends, celebrated our crop. But this time was a very special one because it was dedicated to our dear friend Lourdes. We celebrated her victory against cancer. She's an amazing woman of faith with an admirable courage. It was a beautiful reunion full of joy, bonding and a lot of scrapbook! In addition we celebrated how much the group have grown!
